We have a versatile meeting room space that can be configured to your meeting and event needs!
Space Overview
Gather can comfortably fit 20+ people depending on your layout.
We offer tables, chairs (20+), some cozy seating, a full kitchenette that includes a sink and mini fridge, wi-fi, TV that can be used for presentations, conference mic/speaker, white board, restroom, AC and heating to keep your meeting comfortable year-round and beautiful mountain and ocean views in a convenient downtown location.
Accessibility Notice
Our space is located on the second floor of 1761 Comox Ave. Please note that there is no elevator access. For those who require accessibility, we offer well-equipped Zoom options for participation. We appreciate your understanding.

Please note: while we provide these options, we don’t offer on-site tech support. We encourage you to arrive a little early to get set up and make use of the guide if needed.

Rental Time Options
We can accommodate 1 hour, 1/2 day, full day, weekly rentals based on your needs. All of our booking time options allow for buffer time before and after your booking for set up and clean up.

Quick links for running a successful event in Comox
Layout Option 1 - Meeting Room
Set up one large meeting room table with seating for 18 people. Or separate the two large conference tables to accommodate 20 people (10 at each table)
Want a cozier meeting option?
Our tables can be converted to a smaller size to accommodate a small meeting group size.
Layout 2 - Workshop/Event
We are so excited to showcase the many cool makers, thinkers and creatives in the Comox Valley and beyond. We have many options that can work with your workshop and event needs. A few common options are to cluster tables in small groups or create an open central workspace.
Layout 3 - Presentation, Speaker or Community Meeting
This layout option would be used for speakers, presentations, panels or larger participant community meetings. Chairs would be set up facing our TV or speaker presenter in rows.
Layout 4 - Cozy Gathering
This option we will pull out the comfy chairs and tables to float in the room to allow for meaningful connections. We hope to host your baby shower, staff year end party, book clubs, social group etc.
Layout 5 - Group Therapy or Round Circle
We will clear the tables away and create a large circle with the chairs. This will be the perfect set up for group therapy, meditation circles, discussion and support groups.
Layout 6 - Choose your adventure
Bring your creativity to the space and let us know what layout would be best for your event, workshop or class. We are happy to come up with some options with you and work with your needs.
Food and Beverage Options
We are very fortunate to be located in the heart of Comox. Which means we have amazing options for local food and beverage for your space rental to make your day even more worry free.
We have provided an add-on food option provided by our neighbours downstairs The Mill Coffee Shop. Please let us know if you’d like to see a detailed menu of the options.

Boonies Pizza - Very yummy wood fire pizza with locally sourced ingredients.
RAD Brewery & Church St. Taphouse- Tasty food and local brewery option if you choose to get a liquor license for your event.
Sushi Kobo - located one block from Gather! Always fresh and made with love.
Benino Gelato - Delicious gelato, Italian coffee and yummy treats
Church St. Bakery - Wood fire Sourdough pizza, scones, baked goods. Platter or box options for meeting goodies.
OMG Macaron - Warning, very addictive!
Black Fin Restaurant & Dockside - Beautiful view at Comox waterfront, huge menu with something for everyone. Take out options available.
Liquor Licensing
We require you to obtain a valid liquor license if you plan to have alcohol onsite for your rental. You will need to apply for a special event liquor license. Apply here
