The Unspeakable Story of Estrangement with Restored Hope Counselling

  • Gather 1761 Comox Avenue, E Comox, BC, V9M 3M2 Canada (map)

A supportive workshop for parents cut off from their adult child. This workshop offers a compassionate space for parents to make sense of the loss that is often invisible and deeply misunderstood.

This workshop explores estrangement as a process rather than a single event, introducing concepts such as ambiguous loss, accountability, without self-blame, and ways to find steadiness amid uncertainty.

Participants will leave feeling less alone, less ashamed, and more supported in carrying what is often left unsaid.

Suzan Moldenhauer is a registered counsellor who helps parents make sense of estrangement and carry grief that often goes unseen. Her approach is grounded in compassion, clarity, and practical support, with a focus on healing rather than blame.
